Apparently not, in a poll conducted by Thumbtack, a company that surveyed over 17,000 small businesses across the country, including over 200 in Baltimore. In an article posted by the Baltimore Business Journal yesterday, Baltimore comes in at number 86 out of 95 cities graded in terms of being small business friendly. Being an educator, grades are important. The worst grades?
- D for regulations
- D for tax codes
- F for licensing, environmental, and zoning regs
But the good news is that Baltimore received a B on training and networking for small businesses. Which makes this educator happy!
